Featured Band - Shinedown

This week's featured band is Shinedown, a hard rock band. Although it is not famous in Singapore, it is very famous in the US. Their first album " Leave A Whisper", went platinum, selling millions of copies! This band is personally my favourite hard rock band, and probably overall rock band, of ALL time!

Their hit songs include their breakthrough single "Fly From The Inside", powerfully emotional "45", hit cover of Lynyrd Skynyrd's classic "Simple Man", the xtremely emotional "Burning Bright", all from the first album. From the second and latest album, "Us And Them", the US Billboard smash hit "I Dare You", and the infectious "Save Me". Their acoustic versions of the songs "I Dare You" and "Save Me", plus the rocking new, previously unreleased, "Break".

Lead vocalist Brent Smith's live performances are hailed worldwide as one of the best.
